The Call Boy Summer Issue OUT NOW

The summer issue of The Call Boy has now been published. It is a bumper 36 page edition containing 4 pages of colour photographs recalling the British Music Hall Society’s two big events of the spring: the unveiling of the society’s plaque to comedian Sandy Powell at his Eastbourne home and the Day By The Sea event at the Royal Hippodrome, Eastbourne.

The magazine also has articles on ventriloquists, The Young Brothers, new CDs of interest, Billy Dainty, Lee Stevens, new book reviews and the final instalment of Audrey Lupton’s theatrical memoirs and much more.

Magic of Music Hall Weekend at Wilton’s

Wilton’s Music Hall is staging a ‘Magic of Music Hall Family Weekender’ on Saturday 24th October and Sunday 25th October. This free weekend promises to be ‘a full on tribute to music hall and Wilton’s heritage.’
