Comic Don Maclean has joined forces with Malcolm Stent to write the play Brummegem Pals, which tells the moving story of two ordinary boys who decide in 1914 to abandon their apprenticeships and join the army and find adventure. The play follows their lives and loves and their families caught up in the horrors of the war to end all wars. With five new songs written by Malcolm and one by Don, alongside ‘trench’ songs sung by the soldiers, this is a production not to be missed.

The production starts its tour on 7th November at Redditch Palace Theatre and then moves on to Solihull, Market Drayton, Stratford Upon Avon, Dudley, Pershore, Lichfield, Coventry before finishing at Hinckley on 21st November.
