An Evening With Joane Hall on 16th March

The next BMHS Monthly Meeting takes place on Thursday 16th March at 7.45pm at the Club For Acts and Actors, 20, Bedford Street, Covent Garden, London WC2E 9HP.

Dean Caston will talk to Joane Hall about her long career in show business. Joane started out as a dancer with the Zio Angels. She trained as a ballet dancer but loved to tap dance as well as performing comedy routines. She entertained the troops overseas during the war with ENSA and worked at the London Palladium as a dresser.

She has appeared on television in The Bill, Father Ted and Bramwell. In 1988 she was elected Queen Ratling and is still involved with the Lady Ratlings.

There is no charge for admission to the Monthly Meetings but voluntary donations towards the expenses of the meetings are greatly appreciated. All welcome.
