The Good Old Days on Friday 1st December


Appearing on The Good Old Days on BBC4 on Friday 1st December at 8pm will be Max Wall, Eira Heath, Grace Kennedy, Denny Willis and Co., Deryk Parkin, Doreen Hermitage, James Rinehart, Bill Drysdale, Christine Cartwright and Members of the Players’ Theatre Company. Leonard Sachs, as usual, will be in the Chair. This show was originally broadcast on 6th August 1980.

The Good Old Days on Friday 17th November


Originally broadcast on 2nd July 1980, the edition of The Good Old Days, which BBC4 will repeat on Friday 17th November at 7.30pm will star Moira Anderson, Jack Douglas, Robert White, Audrey Jeans, Jenny Till, Omar Pasha, Marc Metral and Members of the Players’ Theatre Company with Leonard Sachs in the Chair.

BMHS Historian on BBC2’s Celebrity Antiques Roadtrip on 15th November

Brian O’Gorman, BMHS Historian (Variety), will be appearing on the BBC2 programme, Celebrity Antiques Roadtrip on Wednesday 15th November at 7pm. Appearing on the programme with Brian will be Debbie McGee and Chesney Hawkes.

BBC Radio4 Extra will broadcast: Sir Ken Dodd: What A Beautiful Day on Sunday 5th November at 8pm, when Garry Richardson talks to Ken about his life in comedy. Contributors include David Jason, Roy Hudd, Jimmy Tarbuck and Judith Chalmers.

The Good Old Days on 10th November


BBC4 will continue their repeats of The Good Old Days on Friday 10th November at 7.30pm with a screening of an edition of the show first shown on 2nd January 1980. The bill includes John Inman, Gemma Craven, David Kernan, Bernard Spear, Gino Dolati, Micel Arene and the Lido Can Can Girls and Members of the Players’ Theatre Company. Leonard Sachs, as usual, is the Chairman.
