The Good Old Days on February 2nd


On Friday 2nd February at 8.10pm BBC4 will screen a repeat of The Good Old Days, originally shown on 9th July 1981. Bernard Cribbins tops a bill that includes The King’s Singers, Rita Morris, Jenny Wren, Barry Cryer, Sheila Steafel, Bertice Reading and Members of the Players’ Theatre Company. Leonard Sachs is the Chairman.

Roy Hudd on Radio 4 With Christopher Green


Roy Hudd and Christopher Green star in a Radio4 drama on Tuesday 23rd January at 2.15pm. Entitled, How Success Ruined Me, it tells the story of music hall star and gay icon, Fred Barnes.

The Good Old Days on 26th January


The run of repeats of The Good Old Days continues on BBC4 on Friday 26th January at 8.10pm when your own, your very own Roy Hudd will top the bill. This show, originally screened on 2nd July 1981, also features Robert White, Richard Stilgoe, Lorna Dallas, Tom Mennard, Jenny Till, Bill Drysdale and Christine Cartwright and Members of the Players’ Theatre Company. Leonard Sachs, as ever, is in the Chair.

The Good Old Days On Friday January 19th


BBC4 will screen an edition of The Good Old Days on Friday 19th January 2018 at 8pm that was originally broadcast on New Year’s Eve 1980. The show stars Danny La Rue, Keith Harris, Robert White, Duggie Brown, Teresa Cahill, Bablu Mallick, Deryk Parkin and Members of the Players’ Theatre Company. Leonard Sachs is in the Chair.

The Good Old Days Returns!


BBC4 will be screening another edition of The Good Old Days on Friday 12th January at 8.10pm. Originally broadcast in August 1980, the show stars Billy Dainty, Liz Robertson, Sheila Buxton, Ted Durante and Hilda, Norma Dunbar, Gambin and Guest Star Arthur Askey. As usual Members of the Players’ Theatre Company will be on hand and the Chairman is Leonard Sachs.
