On Friday 2nd February at 8.10pm BBC4 will screen a repeat of The Good Old Days, originally shown on 9th July 1981. Bernard Cribbins tops a bill that includes The King’s Singers, Rita Morris, Jenny Wren, Barry Cryer, Sheila Steafel, Bertice Reading and Members of the Players’ Theatre Company. Leonard Sachs is the Chairman.
Roy Hudd and Christopher Green star in a Radio4 drama on Tuesday 23rd January at 2.15pm. Entitled, How Success Ruined Me, it tells the story of music hall star and gay icon, Fred Barnes.

The show stars Danny La Rue, Keith Harris, Robert White, Duggie Brown, Teresa Cahill, Bablu Mallick, Deryk Parkin and Members of the Players’ Theatre Company. Leonard Sachs is in the Chair.

Originally broadcast in August 1980, the show stars Billy Dainty, Liz Robertson, Sheila Buxton, Ted Durante and Hilda, Norma Dunbar, Gambin and Guest Star Arthur Askey. As usual Members of the Players’ Theatre Company will be on hand and the Chairman is Leonard Sachs.
