The BMHS have spent the last 18 months producing a special 10 x 30 minute series of radio programmes – A Little Of What You Fancy – with songs, music and stories from the archives of the British Music Hall Society…included are lots of the most popular songs plus those you may not have heard before.
Many recordings are by the original artistes of the Music Hall and early Variety, plus lots of stories and anecdotes too.
The first series of 4 programmes were broadcast in January and the brand new 2nd series begins broadcasting on Angel Radio on Wednesday 3rd February at 9.35pm for 6 weeks. They will all be repeated on Thursday mornings, starting on Thursday 4th February at 9am
