Argyle Theatre, Birkenhead Exhibition

Twice Nightly: The Argyle Theatre Remembered is the title of an exhibition at the Williamson Art Gallery and Museum, Birkenhead running from 8th June to 3rd September 2022. Free entry. The Art Gallery and Museum is open Wednesday and Thursdays from 10.30am to 5.30pm; Fridays 10.30am to 9pm and Saturdays 10.00am to 4.30pm.

The East Sussex Summer Spectacular: A Fun-Filled Family Event on 6th August from 12 noon – 5pm.

Ace ventriloquist Steve Hewlett, Britain’s Got Talent impressionist Tony Rudd and Fiesta with their Gloria Estefan tribute head the bill of The East Sussex Summer Spectacular – a fun-filled family event on Saturday 6th August from 12 noon to 5pm at the East Sussex School of Circus Arts, at the A22 Hailsham Bypass. Our very good friends, the Max Miller Appreciation Society will be holding their annual ChariTEA Party on Sunday 14th August at the Pavilion Gardens Cafe in Brighton. All welcome and for a very good cause – the Macmillan Horizon Centre.

Lissenden Players’ July Music Hall

The Lissenden Players will be staging their monthly music hall evening on Wednesday 20th July at the Highgate Literary & Scientific Institution, 11, South Grove, Pond Square, Highgate, London N6 6BS. Doors open 7.30 for 8 pm start .

The Tiller Girls

On Tuesday 5th July at 7.30pm at The Water Rats pub, 328, Grays Inn Road, Kings Cross, London, WC1X 8BZ Mark Fox will be hosting an evening devoted to The Tiller Girls with interviews and archive footage.

Scott St. Martyn in conversation with Dean Caston

On Thursday 7th July at 7.30pm at The Water Rats pub, BMHS Chairman Dean Caston will be chatting to Scott about his career in such musicals as 42nd Street, La Cage Aux Folles, Jesus Christ Superstar, West Side Story and The Rocky Horror show.
